Safeguarding Children
Safeguarding children means taking every possible action to promote their welfare, ensure they grow up safe and healthy, and protect them from harm. This includes keeping children safe from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and ensuring their voices are always heard. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Every adult who comes into contact with children and families—whether in school or in the wider community—has a duty to look out for their wellbeing and take action if they have any concerns. At our school, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. All staff members receive regular training so they are confident in recognising signs of concern and know exactly how to respond appropriately. We also work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to create a safe and supportive environment for every child.If you have any concerns about a child’s welfare, however small they may seem, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff. You can be assured that your concerns will be taken seriously and handled with sensitivity.

Managing Worry and Anxiety for Kids
This video explains what it means to worry and provides several relaxation strategies for managing worried feelings, such as deep breathing and thinking positive thoughts. It also encourages kids to reach out to trusted adults or friends to help the “What ifs?” go away.
